The Eastern Townships Forest Research Trust’s (ETFRT) project is getting more than $1.1 million in funding from the federal government. The money will be used to identify effective ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on farms, under the Agricultural Greenhouse Gases Program (AGGP).
A project aiming to develop high performance vanadium electrolytes used in energy storage applications is taking the next step. VanadiumCorp and Electrochem are entering phase II of their project in Boucherville QC where they hope to demonstrate an easier way to produce and supply vanadium electrolytes for energy storage devices.
ABB Canada has opened the doors to its new $90-million headquarters and Customer Innovation Center in Montreal. The facility will house the company’s research, development, manufacturing, assembly and testing for ABB’s suite of energy related products.
Following an agreement with Crius Solar LLC, Solar Alliance Energy Inc. has unveiled its first target market. The Vancouver-based company said in a statement that eastern Massachusetts will be the first market to see an expansion of its sales team, expected to be in place this summer.
