A partnership between Smartcool Systems Inc. and LCS Energy has provide bid energy savings for a Mercedes-Benz auto dealership in the United Kingdom. The dealership, part of The Jardine Motor group, reduced energy consumption by 30%.
The two companies worked together to install Smartcool’s ECO3 energy reduction product at the dealership. Device level sub metering was then installed by Smartcool engineers to measure energy consumption, isolating the supply to the Mitsubishi Heat Pumps which enabled LCS Energy the ability to validate results through a fully accessed web portal.
"This installation is the first of many from Smartcool and LCS Energy, a successful partnership that has seen this project designed and executed by the Smartcool's UK team that delivered fantastic results. The Smartcool energy solution will bring both financial and environmental benefits to The Jardine Group,” said Steven Martin, executive VP at Smartcool.
James Martin, director of business development at LCS Energy, noted that the validated results exceeded expectations and now The Jardin Group is considering a nationwide rollout.
