Eco-Shift Power Corp. has landed another big contract in the United States, this time a 38-site project in Washington State to begin later this quarter. This adds to two contracts with the same customer, a national retailer, in Utah and Wyoming.
Smartcool Systems Inc. has inked an agreement with SmartACR to bring the company under the Smartcool banner. SmartACR has had success in the SME market with companies such as Dunkins Donuts, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Nestle Foods, Campbell's and Victoria Stations. The distributor was also successful at receiving rebates and subsidies from utilities in the US Northeast.
An event that was seeking new and innovative products and services from Canadian technology firms to meet challenges in the UK green building and sustainable design sector saw Eco-Shift Power come in second.
Electric utilities working with Simple Energy now have an added tool to help their customers reduce energy consumption. The Boulder CO-based company unveiled Marketplace on February 24, a new piece of software that allows utilities to connect their customers to rebates on energy efficient products.
