Plug’n Drive has officially opened its Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre. It's the world's first experiential learning facility dedicated to electric vehicle (EV) education and awareness – and it's completely free for consumers.
GreenPower Motor Company Inc. has inked an agreement for five all electric buses with Colville Gaming LLC, a company that operates operates three casinos, a hotel, spa, the Deep Water Amphitheatre and related entertainment facilities in Washington state. Colville Gaming also has an option to acquire an additional five buses.
New Flyer Industries Inc. delivered 892 equivalent units (EUs) in the first quarter of 2017, an increase of 63 compared to the first quarter of last year, the company announced last week. Sequential results (Q4 2016 to Q1 2017) were down 101 EUs.
A new program from Con Edison and FleetCarma is offering to pay electric vehicle drivers to charge their EVs during times of low electricity demand. The two companies are now looking for EV drivers to participate in the SmartCharge New York program. It’s open to EV owners in New York City and WestChester County.
