Solar Alliance Energy Inc. has inked a strategic partnership to expand its sales activities in the United States. The deal with Autowatts, said Jason Bak, chair of the board and CEO, “represents the opportunity for a paradigm shift” in residential solar sales.
Two major contracts, one in the United States and the other in China, is giving Ovivo Inc. a $21 million boost in revenue. The Montreal-based company’s Canadian energy and electronics divisions scored the business.

Hot tubs don’t have to be energy hogs, according to Arctic Spsa co-founder Brent Macklin. The Canadian company has proven this by developing a new tool, the Spa Boy, that manages how and when the hot tub uses energy.
Thermal Energy International Inc. has a $1 million order to supply and install a FLU-ACE heating recovery system for a food products business in Italy. This marks the second order with the customer, the first being a GEM steam trap order in January 2015.
